You guys – I am just 19 days away from being a bride! This has gotten so real and it is ’til to get my shit together.
Here is my 19 Days ’til BRIDE plan because yes, I always need to have a plan to follow.
19 Days ’til BRIDE
Today was a good workout day. I signed up for back-to-back studio classes so Kailey could kick my ass on the bike then again in Core, Buns + Guns. I was incredible sweaty after two 45-minute classes and glad I wore my Polar to track everything.
Some serious calories torched in these two classes. I will take it because that means I can feel less bad about not doing much this past week. I’d like to ride this workout momentum throughout the week. Here is what I am thinking.
Monday: BURN at Studio 5. I haven’t tried this class yet but from the looks of it its a cardio and strength based circuit class. Worth a shot!
Tuesday: Pilates at Studio 5.
Wednesday: Try out new gym. More on this later 🙂
Thursday: BodyPump at home
Saturday and Sunday: Convince SL to do something fun with me!
Time to get back in the kitchen. I have been so lax this summer when it comes to planning and cooking meals for the Mr. and me. I didn’t beat myself up over it though, I just enjoyed Taco Tuesday and Wing Night and ice cream dinners after all-day hikes.
Now that summer is “over” (<– its not really over) its time to get back into a routine. That means actually planning out weekly meals, going to the grocery store on Sunday and doing Sunday prep which I actually managed to do today.
I bought ALL.THE.FOOD. at Market Basket.
Then I made a Sunday Prep list #iheartlists
My menu for this week looks like this:
Sunday (tonight) : Lentils and Meat Sauce – Doesn’t have the same ring as spaghetti and meat sauce but lentils are healthier and as a bride-to-be I feel like I should make the healthier decision
Monday: Grilled Firecracker Chicken thighs over lots of spring mix and veggies from the garden and some pearl couscous
Tuesday: Leftover Chicken from Monday but with asparagus and roasted baby potatoes
Wednesday: Sweet and Spicy Mango Shrimp with brown rice and sautéed mushrooms and onions and some greens for good measure
Friday – Saturday: Play it by ear
Biz (Wedding Biz that is)
- Skype with DJ
- Email Florist
- 2nd Dress Fitting 🙂
- Get seating cards, programs and menus squared away
- Go to jeweler
- Win the lottery so I can pay for all of this and not go completely broke
And there you have it, my plans for this week. And don’t think for one second that I won’t obnoxiously announce how many days left until my wedding each and every day for the next 19 days!
