I tried a new workout this week and my god did I sweat. Yes, it has been hotasballs out over the last two weeks but I’m blaming the excessive sweat on this new super simple (but challenging) workout.

Good thing I had all the essentials…watermelon hint water and Energybits…much needed in the summer heat. Anyways, back to business.

This new-to-me workout has only three parts, burpees, mountain climbers and planks. Super simple.

I used my tabata timer app on my phone to time it all out.The app is set to work for 20 seconds the rest for 10. For this workout, work for the 20 seconds and continue to work through the rest time. Once the 30 seconds is up, rest for the next 30 seconds.

Boom…that’s it!

This workout can be completed as many times as you want! The first time I did this I made it through 3 rounds and was pooped. Last night I made it through 5! Woo!

And now, time to get on with hump day…1/2 way to the weekend!

    I myself teetsd out the effectiveness of interval training. It does indeed work, but just be careful to not overdo it with HIIT as I had some muscle strains once from thinking I could handle a higher intensity than I normally do.
