Good morning and happy Monday. I am coming at you fresh (well not so fresh) off of a whirlwind Cape Cod wedding weekend. SL and I were ecstatic to share in the excitement of his cousin’s wedding to his beautiful bride who I am happy to call my new cousin-in-law.
Other than eating, drinking and spending quality time with SL’s side of the family, this Cape Cod wedding weekend didn’t involve all that much else so I figured a share some picture and some words.
Cape Code Wedding Weekend
- The bride and groom at the rehearsal dinner
- My groom and I at the rehearsal dinner
- All of the cousins. I love this one!
- A couple of couples
- You can’t go to the Cape with out eating oysters.
- I wore grandma’s pearls for the occasion
- The favors were Moscow Mule mugs and cute cootie catchers
- Love me some SL. How cute is he in his bow tie?!
- The sunset didn’t suck at all
On Sunday morning we packed up early and headed home in homes to beat traffic, which we mostly did. SL hosted his fantasy football draft party at the house and I hid in the bedroom and watched lots of DVRed TV.
I offered to go pick up pizzas for the guys and made sure to order something yummy for myself. Nothing beats Sunday night TV and pizza.
I was exhausted from the weekend and SL and I were both in bed before 10:00 and I was asleep shortly after.Cape Code Wedding Weekend Click To Tweet
This summer has been so crazy with weddings and weekends away that my routine is totally off. You know what I had for breakfast this morning? A vitamin and leftover pizza. Balance right?
In an attempt to get my shit together after our amazing Cape Cod wedding weekend, I am putting my meal plan and workout plan in writing.
This weeks menu
Monday: Pan Seared cod (from Greensbury Market) and sautéed vegetables from the garden
Tuesday: Scallop (and shrimp) Curry with Mango Salsa – I made it last week and am making it again this week because its SO delish. I made a bunch of substitutions based on what I had in the kitchen but I loosely followed the linked recipe
Wednesday: Baked Shrimp and Ramen – again, I loosely follow the linked recipe
Thursday: Left over Slow Cooker Basil Chicken in Coconut Curry Sauce that I made for lunches
Friday/Saturday: Wing it/Left overs
Sunday: Another wedding!
Weekly Workout Plan
Tuesday: AM Yoga, PM Cycle
Friday: Cycle and maybe a hike
Saturday: Hoping to hike with SL if we don’t get the chance to on Friday
And with that, I am ready to conquer this week!
