It’s a new week and I figured it was a good time for a catching up post. There has been a lot of big things going on which is why I’ve been a bit MIA.
Let’s start with the biggest news.
I RESIGNED FROM MY JOB!!!! I am now a full-time freelancer. Last week was my first full working from home week and I loved every minute of it. Currently, I have 3 clients and am on the hunt for more.
Adios 9-5 (well, 8:30-5:30). I realized a while ago that over the past 10 years of working “normal” jobs, I’ve never really been happy. I’ve always done well at my jobs but there was something in me that was never fully on board working for someone else.
Now, I make my own schedule, I work as much (or as little) as I want and I work where I want. So far, I’ve set up shop on my couch, at my deck, at the library and at Whole Foods. Loving every second of it!
SL finishes his grad program this week! I am so incredibly proud of him. He’s worked so hard over the past 2 years and after Saturday’s class, he will be DONE!

IVF update…We had our second egg retrieval last Monday and have sent out our embryos for testing. SO fingers crossed for good news over the next 2-3 weeks. Because, yeah, they make you wait 2-3 weeks. Ugh.
Because I feel like I have my shit together when I post about workouts and meal plans, here are my workouts and meal plans.
Weekly Workouts (last week)
My workouts aren’t quite back on track nor do I think they will be for a while but I am trying. This week will look better than last week.
Monday: Nothing. I had my procedure so exercise with off the table.
Tuesday: 2.5-mile walk
Wednesday: Yoga because I felt like the Tin Man.
Thursday: Nothing. Seems like a didn’t take enough time off after my procedure because things didn’t feel right so I took it easy.
This Week’s Menu
I accidentally ordered a Blue Apron but I’m not unhappy about it.
Monday (tonight!): Roasted Chicken thighs (from Butcher Box) with roasted vegetables
Wednesday: Blue Apron
Thursday: Blue Apron
Friday: Blue Apron or take out
Sunday: Wing it – probably grill something!
