Hey there! It’s Friday! It’s Good Friday to be exact. Does anyone have fun Easter plans? SL and I are heading over to my parents’ where my mom will cook enough food for 40 people but there will only be 6 of us plus one 18-month old. Hopefully, she will let me take home leftovers!
Leftovers = meal prep complete! There is a good life hack for you.
So today started with a cycle class and I was SO tempted to stay in bed. Even when I got there I was tempted to give up my spot to someone who was on the waitlist but showed up in hopes to get a bike. But I sucked it up and stayed in class.
Then the speaker blew and we had no music. Ugh. Have you ever taken a cycle class without music? It was…interesting. But I did it and I got my sweat on and now here we are – sipping coffee on the couch writing up this post before work.
Now, back to business. Here are my Friday Favorites this week. I only had three but three is better than zero.
Friday Favorites #102
Dr. Phil gif
Wednesday was a crazy work day where I got bitched at then told someone that I didn’t give AF about something. So yeah, great day. But then I got an email with this gif and LOLed really hard. It was exactly how I was feeling at the time.
It’s no secret that the past year has been really hard for me. And when things are hard, sometimes you just need to listen to other people talking about heir hard lives to put your shit in perspective. I found a sad podcast that I absolutely love.
Podcast description: You know how every day someone asks “how are you?” And even if you’re totally dying inside, you just say “fine,” so everyone can go about their day? This show is the opposite of that.
I’ve been saying, “I’m fine” for months and months and its most often been a total lie. The TTFA podcast has made me realize its ok not to be fine. Its ok to laugh and cry and that despite grief, you just have to keep living. L-I-V-I-N-G.
Rainbow Light Berry D-Licious D3 Gummy Vitamins
At my recent physical, my nurse practitioner told me my Vitamin D was borderline low and that I should take a supplement. I’ve taken D in the past but haven’t found anything I loved. Until these Rainbow Light gummies. They are so juicy and delicious and not chalky at all.
I even made SL eat one just to try them. He was a fan too.
I hope everyone has a good Friday (<– see what I did there) and a great weekend!
