Hey girls heeeyyyyy! Are there any guys out there? If so, let me know but I doubt there are too many.
Its Friday of a holiday weekend so let’s all be excited about that. We have fun friends staying with us for the weekend and a wedding to go to tomorrow.
Then Sunday is my least/most favorite day of the year. SL hosts his fantasy football league draft with a whole bunch of guys discussing football players (least favorite – because who cares) so I lock myself in the bedroom and binge watch some girly TV show and eat pizza which I force the guys to pay for (favorite – because TV + pizza = living my best life).
Friday Favorites #109
This highly criticized Netflix series is making my list because I am possibly the one person out there who really likes it. It’s an easy watch which I need after watching all of my crime/murder shows.
Insatiable follows the main character, Patty, who has lost a bunch of weight and now wants to seek revenge on those who bullied her when she was bigger. The show is inappropriate, witty and fun. Despite all of the internet hate, I really enjoyed this show. Yes, enjoyed. I binged the shit out of it. Season 2 – where are you!
Jovial Organic Brown Rice Pasta
I love trying different gluten-free kinds of pasta and seeing if SL will notice. I kid, I kid. I like trying them because I like trying new things in the kitchen. So far, I’ve really liked the chickpea pastas but I really loved this brown rice pasta.
I think it’s the closest to regular pasta that I’ve tried in taste and in texture.
Andalou Naturals Instant Brighten & Tighten Facial Sheet Mask (the orange one)
This brand of sheet masks briefly got mentioned last winter but I felt this one, in particular, deserved a little more love.
After my shower on Wednesday, I put this mask on and kept it on for roughly 30 minutes. The package says to keep it on for 10-20 minutes but I am extra so I opted for 30.
The results – even SL noticed my glowing face which is a miracle!
A Simple Favor (the book)
Anna Kendrick. Blake Lively. New movie. I’m in!
When I saw the preview for the movie, A Simple Favor, I thought the plot seemed familiar so I googled to see if it was, in fact, a book I had read. Turns out it wasn’t but the movie is based on a book so I scooped it up from the library last Friday and finished it by Monday which is very fast for me.
So the movie comes out September 14th. Anyone want to see it with me? I don’t think I can convince SL to see this one. After Gone Girl, he doesn’t love my movie suggestions.
That’s all for today. I hope you all enjoy your holiday weekend!
