Woohoo, the weekend is almost here. Has this week felt super long to anyone else?
I can honestly say that since I started working from home, my weeks have flown by. But this was I woke up every day, starting on Tuesday, thinking (hoping) it was Friday.
We have another semi-quiet weekend around here to look forward to. Our 3rd anniversary is early next week so I’m hoping we can do a little celebrating this weekend. Saturday’s weather is looking perfect for a hike – hint, hint SL!
Before I get myself into full-on weekend mode, let’s chat about some of this week’s favorites.
Friday Favorites #111
Is there anything better than a hot espresso with warm and frothy cashew milk on a cool fall morning?
No, there isn’t.
We’ve had our Breville Nespresso machine for almost a year so I can’t believe I haven’t written about it yet. SL and I fell in love with espresso when we were in Portugal. We stayed in three different hotels/apartments and each had espresso machines so it was easy for us to enjoy a quick espresso before heading out for the day.
Jack Ryan on Amazon
I’ve never read a Tom Clancy book but I’ve been enjoying seeing John Krasinski in a more serious role. Now that we powered through all of season 1, I’m excited for season 2.
PaleOMG Leggings from Four Athletics
I received my 5th pair of PaleOMG leggings recently and I’ve already worn and washed them at least 3 times. LOVE THEM SO MUCH! I ordered the 7/8th leggings in the jam color.
(Picture is obviously not me. It’s from the Four Athletics website – I didn’t get a chance to take a decent picture in them)
Cozy Fleece from AMAZON!
Looks at this cozy fleece from Amazon. Is it not perfect? Oh, and it’s only $25. I’ve basically worn it non stop since Monday.
I found this fleece via Style Your Senses Amazon Fashion Haul blog post. So many of her Amazon finds are so good and so affordable. I’m pretty sure I’ll add a few more of them to my cart.
All We Ever Wanted by Emily Giffin
I finally got off the waitlist at the library for this book. I picked it up on Wednesday and am halfway through already. I’m 96% sure I’ll finish it over the weekend.
All We Ever Wanted is Emily’s 9th book and it’s the 9th Giffin book that I’ve read. I am low key obsessed with her easy reads and wish she could pump out a few each year. Here is a snippet of the description from the website:
At the heart of the lies and scandal, Tom, Nina, and Lyla are forced together—all questioning their closest relationships, asking who they really are, and searching for the courage to live a life of true meaning.
If you are looking for an easy read, go pick up this book.
That’s all I have for today. I hope you have a great weekend!
