Good morning and happy Earth Day! I am not doing anything special to celebrate but I ready to dive into the weekend like a hot person dives into a pool on the 4th of July. SL and I don’t have huge plans for the weekend but I do have a baby shower to attend and a few workouts to crush.
In typical Friday fashion, below are some things I have loved this week. I am proud that I didn’t make the Friday Favorites #47 edition all about food!
Friday Favorites #47: April 22
Polar Seltzer’s Latest Flavor
Jalapeño Citrus Margarita is everything. Just in time for Cinco de Mayo! My co-worker and I share an intense love for Polar Seltzer and semi-regularly discuss our current favorite flavors (Unicorn Kisses still might be my favorite). She is a gem and bought me a bottle of this limited edition flavor when she saw it in her local grocery store.
I am hoping to find it somewhere and stock up for summertime cocktails and mocktails!
Snappin’ over at emilyh1020
I’ve jumped on the Snapchat bandwagon because apparently its not only for teens who send nudes! I can’t quite get on the live stream bandwagon but this is like a gateway drug to that. I’ve updated my story no less than a dozen times a day since I finally figured out how to do it.
I feel like I won’t get really good at Snapchat until I find a 22-year-old to teach me but for now I am having fun.
The Lemon Tree
I semi-knew this place existed in my town but I didn’t get around to trying it until this Wednesday. I saw a Groupon for the cafe and bought it immediately. After cycle class on Wednesday morning I stopped in for a juice before work. South of the Boarder aka the Spicy Detox (kale, jalapeño, green apple, cucumber, lime, spinach and celery). It was delicious!
I had to go back in this morning to try a smoothie. And another juice. I am obsessed! Today I ordered the Sunrise smoothie (fresh orange juice, banana, turmeric, coconut flakes, coconut milk) and the Ginger Snap juice (spinach, ginger, celery, lemon, red apple). Both were delicious and mostly gone by the time I reached the office.
Yes, I double fisted my breakfast. Don’t hate.
My Latest Stitch Fix
I cut my Stitch Fix (<– referral link) deliveries down to every two months because I was loving everything they sent me and spending way too much money on clothing. This fix was not different…
Look at how spring-y and happy all of these pieces are? Don’t they just scream happiness?!
I will do a full post on what I am keeping next week but spoiler alert: I loved everything!
That is it for this week. I hope you have a fun-filled weekend!
