Hey hey hey! Its Friday my friends! I have a few fun things to look forward to this weekend including a bridal shower down on the Cape. I was really hoping for a sunny, warm spring weekend but that isn’t going to happen around these parts. Whomp whomp.
I have to miss run club this weekend but hopefully I can carve out some time to run outside on Saturday. Maybe I can convince SL to join me…we’ll see. Before we get ahead of ourselves, let take a look back on the week and all the things I’ve been loving.
Friday Favorites #48
Getting a Facial
I love getting facials and on Wednesday after work my face got a little buff. I have seen Kim at Aqua Salon at least a half dozen times now and she is amazing. Between getting my face healthy while I’m there and walking my step-by-step through what I should be doing at home she really has helped me learn more about how to properly treat my face.
This time, she sent me home with two GlyMedPlus products for my under eye area. Apparently the skin there was giving her some difficulties.
Having my Nails Done
This is turning into a treat yo self post! During my lunch break yesterday I got my nails done
I always feel like a total boss when I have a fresh manicure. I have a couple events this weekend that I want to look boss-like for so I took the time to make sure my hands were on point. I opted for OPI Black Cherry Chutney shellac. It is the perfect color to match all of the outfits I plan on wearing this weekend.
EBTKS Breakfast Strata
I set out to make a breakfast strata last Sunday and realized I didn’t have many of the ingredients I had thoughts were in my fridge. As I stared into my fridge I thought to myself, “What goes good with eggs? Oh right, EVERYTHING but the kitchen sink.”
Lucky for me, everything except for fruit (in my mind) mixes well with eggs so I assembled this week’s strata with:
Base – 4 english muffins, halved and toasted
Egg mixture – 4 whole eggs, 2 cups of egg whites, 1/2 cup of cashew milk, salt, pepper, and chili power
Mix-ins – 1/4 sweet onion, 3 celery stalks, 1/2 cup pepperoni (sliced and diced), 2 frozen sausage links (sliced), 6 slices of crispy bacon (crumbled)
Boomerang App from Instagram
Boomerang allows you to make little mini movies that look like gifs to me and it is the most simple way. All you have to do is press a button and move around.

Paying off my car loan!!!
I am super excited about this one!
I officially own my car bitches!! This isn’t a first for me but its a big one because I love my car and now me and me alone owns it. Paying off my car was one of my big financial goal for 2016. It was also on my 100 Life Goals list. Have this monthly expense freed up, I am now concentrating on paying myself back (for house and wedding things) and paying down one of my student loans.
And with that, it is time to conquer the day then enjoy the weekend!
