Happy happy Friday!! I couldn’t be happier that this week is over and I’m even more excited that it’s a long weekend. This morning started out with a quick but super sweaty spin class and a large iced salted caramel coffee. Is there a better way to start a Friday? I don’t think so!
I was on a Wednesday lunchtime yoga kick for a while but have since traded the mat for walks outside now that the weather is nice. I’ve missed yoga so was really happy to see it on the schedule at Studio 5 for the summer.
Despite the 5:30 am start time, I really enjoyed the hour-long class. Everything felt tight as I moved through the poses but it felt so good to stretch out. The instructor also came over to make a few adjustments on me throughout class which I love!
The class was called Sweat + Savasana and was an athletic based yoga flow class where the sequence was built on elements of yoga, fitness, plyometrics and pilates. It started with a warm up of sun salutations, then moved into a ladder flow where posed were stacked on each other, and ended with a deep hip stretch and savasana. It was perfect for my haggard feeling body.
SL’s birthday was Wednesday and I found this adorable card. I cringed at the $8 price tag but it was too cute not to buy. Pizza is my favorite food and SL loves it too so I figured this care would be perfect.
Last weekend I finally got some swimming in! I love being in water and could swim all day if given the chance. I remember being a kid and heading down to the beach and my mom saying I couldn’t get into the water until she was set up. It nearly killed me to wait the extra 3 minutes for her to set up he chair and towel and such.
Maybe that’s why I have a slight obsession with buying bathing suits, because I love to swim??
I bought these naan chips on a whim while heading to the beach last weekend and the whole bag was gone within 24 hours. The
are were vegan, kosher and non-GMO so in my opinion, that equals healthy.
According to the website, they come in 2 other flavors, Rosemary and Sea Salt, which both sound delicious. I will most certainly be buying these again.
