Good morning and happy Friday! Although this was a short week for me work-wise, I am still more than ready for the weekend to be here. The fact that it is a long weekend for me makes it even better!
SL and I don’t have much of anything planned for our 3-day weekend but I definitely want to hit up the Topsfield Fair and get some fun workouts in. Right now I have a cycle and Core, Buns + Guns class on my schedule.
Before I get too excited about the weekend, let discuss this past week. In typical Friday fashion, here are my Friday Favorites aka things that I have really loved this week.
Friday Favorites #66
I finally crawled out from under my rock and tried this fizzy, fermented drink. I have been drinking KeVita probiotic drinks for a while now and decided to give their Master Brew kombucha a try.
Verdict? I love it. I might even like it more than the probiotic drink!
KeVita Master Brew Kombucha is vegan, non-GMO, and organic and actually tastes really good. There aren’t any floaties (gag) in this kombucha which I think would have been a deal breaker for me.
I’ve tried both the ginger and tart cherry flavors this week and though I liked the ginger more, both were great. Next step – get SL to try it!
Another thing I am late to the game on, collagen. I’ve seen plenty of bloggers stirring it in their coffee and juice lately so I hopped on the bandwagon like a true basic bitch.
For some great info, read Julie’s post.
It doesn’t taste like anything and doesn’t alter the consistency of anything so even if its not “working,” I don’t mind stirring it into my morning coffee.
Like I mentioned yesterday, I will fully recap my trip starting next week but I can’t not mention it here. SL and I both loved our anniversary trip to Ireland. We have both had a crazy year and celebrating our anniversary by taking a trip was just what we both needed.
Although this trip was not relaxing, we were constantly on the go, I came back feeling completely energized. We were able to spend lots of time in Dublin but also got to visits a few cities and villages in the countryside.
Will we go back? In the words of Mr. Big – Abso-fuckin-lutely!
Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates
This one was of the many movie options on our flight back from Dublin and to tell you the truth, I had pretty low hopes. Despite loving most of the cast, I really thought this movie would be unbearable but I gave it a go anyways.
I LOLed numerous times and then even made SL watch it. While predictable, I thought this movie was really funny and a perfect time filler for a long plane ride.
