Good morning and happy Friday! Fun fact – I just realized I skipped Friday Favorites #65. Oops!
Oh well, moving on. I am once again really looking forward to this weekend. SL has class on Saturday so I booked myself a nice little 5k. I haven’t been running at all so this should be interesting. I’ll make sure to recap it next week.
Without getting too far ahead of myself, lets talk about things I have been loving this week. Despite being a bit under the weather, I have a lot of Friday Favorites to discuss.
Friday Favorites #67
Peanut Butter Toast
For my mid afternoon snacks this week I have been enjoying this simple snack. I toast 1 slice Ezekiel Sesame bread and slather it with 1-2 TBS of Teddie Peanut Butter. Its SO GOOOOOOOD!
Welcome back to childhood. Except I am not sure if I even ate much toast as a kid. I’ll have to ask my mom.
Last Friday, a co-worker invited me to to visit Roost, a local shop, on our lunch break. Never one to turn down getting out of the office during lunch (post link), I said yes and was so glad I did.
We went to Roost and it was the cutest little shop I’ve been to in a long time. There was everything from cards to socks to onsies to cookbooks. I could have spent hours and lots of dollars in there!
I ended up leaving the store with two onsies for two very special babies in my life and a garden gnome. Fun fact: David the Gnome used to be one of my favorite shows as a kid and now I have my very own gnome!
I’ve known that I am part mermaid for a long time. Luckily, SL goes along with my craziness and bought me this mermaid tail blanket for my birthday (which is next week). I wasn’t supposed to open it when it came but I did anyway and I love it!
Chef’s Table on Netflix
Chef’s Table has been around for a bit but I finally started watching it this week. And I love it. The episodes are so well put together and I have already learned so much.
If you haven’t heard about it, Chef’s Table is a documentary series on Netflix and each episode is dedicated to one renown chef. So far, there are two 6-episode seasons on Netflix. I’m sure that by this time next week I will have watched them all!
Large May Designs Notebook
I have been a huge fan of May Designs notebooks for a while now and they have popped on up numerous posts. Recently they launched a larger size (7.5″ x 9.75″ compared to there normal sized notebook which is 5″ x 8″) and it is a perfect compliment to my new job.
I ordered the teacher planner version and use each subject area for my different clients. I of course still use all of my normal sized ones for everything from my personal weekly schedule to my budget to travel planning.
