So it’s been a hot second since I posted on of these! I love pulling together Friday Favorites posts but I have just been so busy lately with work and studying for the CPT that a lot of my blogging projects took a back seat. I will be making more of an effort going forward to schedule my time better and blog.
Back to the fact that it is Friday and that it is a holiday (observed) here in the US! That might be my favorite thing today.
Friday Favorites – 7.3
- New Place Settings
My bridesmaids threw me the most amazing shower of all time. And my guests gave me the best gifts of all time. I am loving actually having place settings at our dining room table now. SL and I don’t eat at the table often but having a table look pulled together pulls together our dining area and makes us look like we are adults.
When cherries are in season I eat all of them. Although its super unclassy to spit the pits into a cup while sitting at work, I do it anyway. There are just a few short weeks in the beginning of summer that cherries are ripe and not $8 a pound so making an ass out of myself during this period is A-Ok with me!
SL got me this gold bar necklace for our engagiversary. Yes, I wanted to make sure we celebrated this day because it was the best! I opted for the 17″ gold necklace with our wedding date in roman numerals. Its a little hard to see in the picture but it reads: X.II.MMXV (10.2.2015).
- Maaji Chamomile Garden Swimsuit
I have been ogling this brand on instagram for a while now and finally ponied up and bough myself a suit. I justified it by telling myself I needed a honeymoon bathing suit. The cut off the Maaji suit bottoms is a bit risqué so I won’t been wearing it to the family-friendly beaches around my house but will rock it in Thailand and Bali. I purchases this beautiful pice of art from Kayokoko.
- Blog Updates
I am really proud of myself for learning some nerdy shit and updating my site’s CSS to update my header and change some link colors. HTML scares some people but not this lady. I even went as far as to change the sites .php and prompting nuked my whole site yesterday afternoon! Thanks to the lovely customer service at Bluehost I was back up and runnign in no time! Note to self: DON’T mess with the .php – you are not nerdy enough (yet!)
I hope you all have a great day and enjoy the weekend!
See you on Monday with more on my CPT.
