Happy Veteran’s Day and a very happy birthday to my BFF since age 3, Zanna!
We have done, seen and experienced a lot together so far and we will continue to do so for decades to come.
And with that, its time for Friday Favorites. This Friday, it is even more important to talk about love, spread love and share love with everyone. Here are things that I have loved this week!
Friday Favorites #71
Kauai Coffee Vanilla Macadamia Nut Coffee
Nothing beats a nice hot cup of flavored coffee in the morning. Am I right? I bought the Kauai Coffee Vanilla Macadamia Nut coffee on a whim this week because I liked the packaging. I drank it and am now writing about it because I love the taste!
I found this gem at my local Market Basket but you can buy it online too.
First Comes Love by Emily Giffin
I started and finished this book this week. That is absolutely unheard of for me. I’ve read every single book Emily Giffin has wrote and I have loved them all. Her writing style makes for a very easy read and all of her books a “light” (a.k.a. not scary) so I am able to read before bed.
Her latest novel, First Comes Love, was published in June and is about a family, specifically two sisters who deal with their current lives as well as the 15 year anniversary of their brother’s death.
There were no big plot twists, just an easy read that I loved.
I wrote about how I was in a slump last week and part of that slump had me hating meal planning and cooking dinner. I opted for a Blue Apron delivery and was not disappointed.
Blue Apron seriously never disappoints me. Tuesday night I made Vietnamese with Sweet Potato Noodles and Daikon Radish and it was seriously so so good!
On Wednesday I made Shrimp & Shiitake Mushroom Dumplings with Sauteed Bok Choy and Soy Dipping Sauce and it was also amazing! Both of these recipes I feel like I could easily recreate and add to my dinner arsenal.
The Naked and Famous Concert
SL and I have seen TNAF four times now and each time has been completely different. Yes, all four concerts we have been to have been at different venues but even their interpretations of their songs have been different.
I love seeing them live!
Needless to say, last night was a late night and I am exhausted today. Bring on the aforementioned Vanilla Macadamia Nut coffee!
I hope you all have a great weekend. This weekend am looking forward to taking a Deep Stretch Workshop on Saturday (god help my super tights hips) and have no plans at all on Sunday!
