Yay Friday! Fri-YAY!! We made it y’all. This weekend is a busy one with a trip to Kennebunkport, Maine on Saturday and a baby shower on Sunday.
My Friday started the best way possible, a sweaty cycle class with one of my favorite instructors. And now, time to work for the weekend…but first, Friday Favorites!
Friday Favorites #73
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life
I love Gilmore Girls. I even wrote a post about the best Gilmore Girls episodes (IMO).
There were high hopes for the new Netflix series and honestly, I am a bit torn. I loved lots about it but there were something that were, well, awful. I am still including it here because talking about it with other GG lover has consumed my week.
Craving out time this weekend to re-watch is a priority.
Tis the season! Fall is quite possibly my favorite season but I am not the biggest pumpkin flavor fan. I know, I know – take away my #basicbitch card immediately.
I do however love the winter seasonal flavors. I’ll take a mint tea and mint coffee any day over pumpkin spice.
Burgers at Lexie’s
This is kind of cheating because I ate at Lexie’s last week but since I didn’t do a FF post last week, I am including it.
My burger was called the Urban Cowboy and had avocado, bacon, an onion ring, BBQ sauce and chimichurri sauce. It was so so good!
The cider in the background was also delicious. It was a fall flavor and had a caramel, cinnamon, sugar rim. How clever!
The Woman in Cabin 10
This book was popular at the library and I was on the waitlist for quite a while. When It was finally my turn, I read the book in 5 days…which is light speed for me.
I knew there would be twist and turns based on what everyone on the internet was saying and I was happy that they were the predictable twist and turns that I expected.
If you loved anything by Gillian Flynn or Woman on the Train, I think you will enjoy The Woman in Cabin 10 as well.

This post was so fun to write. It only took me 13 months to get it done!
Visiting Ang Thong National Marine Park was a highlight of our honeymoon.
And finally, a favorite picture from Thanksgiving. I think I had gravy on my hand.
Love this little girl so much.
I hope you have a great Friday and a great weekend. I’ll see you on the other side!
