Oh hey Friday, good to see you. It’s been far too long. I’m really looking forward to the weekend despite a possible Noreaster hitting us on Sunday. I guess that just means more couch/book/tea time for me!
What are your weekends looking like? Halloween parties, fall festivities? I want to know! SL has class on Saturday then we are most likely going to a Halloween party in Salem (yes, I live right near Salem and yes, I do anything possible to avoid it in October but our friends just moved into an apartment there and this is their first gathering).
Before I get too ahead of myself, let’s chat about some Friday Favorites, shall we? I love to look back through the week and find things that really brought a smile to my face. I’m proud of myself this week because it’s not all food! Yay me!
Friday Favorites #93
Brat Hans Chicken Sausage
I’ve mentioned this company before but I tried the Spicy Italian flavor this week and I love them so much. I picked these up at Whole Foods earlier this week and they are already gone.
New Fall Fashion Finds
I used my birthday as an excuse to beef up my fall wardrobe recently and I am in love with everything I have found.
Herringbone Puffer Vest via Amazon
I ordered a medium and easily could have gone with the small but I LOVE THIS VEST. I’ve been on the hunt for an affordable herringbone vest for years now and I finally found it.
Lightweight Distressed V-Neck from White Plum
A lightweight sweater is invaluable this time of year. We are still having 65-70 degree days but we are also having rainy, 50 degree days. This sweater is perfect to through over a tank or to be worn under a vest. I am tempted to get it in every color. Stop me, please!
Boldly Buckled Knee High Boot from ModCloth
I mentioned these boots in this post but I hadn’t received them yet. Now that I have, I’ve worn them almost every day since. They are the perfect fall boot
My hair is a janky mess. There, I said it. I finally have a hair appointment scheduled for tomorrow to get my mane back to a good place. I told the receptionist that I wanted a caramel balayage look and that I wanted to go a bit shorter.
TBH, I am totally fine with giving the reins over to my stylist and letting her go at it. If I come out with purple hair, so be it.
And speaking of hair…
Beautycounter Repair & Nourish Shampoo and Conditioner
I’ve been slowing switching out my conventional products for less chemical laden ones and started using Beautycounter Repair & Nourish Shampoo and Conditioner this week and I love it.
From the website:
Developed to nourish dry, damaged hair, this collection is formulated with antioxidant-rich bataua oil, which helps restore luster to stressed strands and California blue agave complex to hydrate within and strengthen the outside. All products have a woody floral scent and are safe for color-treated hair.
These products smell so good and my hair feels so soft. Love love love!
That’s all I have for today. I hope you all have a great weekend! See you on Monday!
