Well hello Monday. You came far too quickly. I enjoyed a very relaxing weekend split between time up in Maine with my parents and time at home (at the beach) with SL.
I’m keeping this post short and sweet because I didn’t do a lot of things this weekend – I just relaxed and it was glorious.
My entire weekend can be summed up in the three photos below…
My absolute favorite thing to do in the world is to be out on the lake in my (my parents’) boat. On Saturday, I went out in the boat twice. It was perfect.
Fast forward to Sunday…
SL and I had a Sunday Funday afternoon at the beach. It was so nice to just sit and read for a couple hours. After the beach, we stopped at a new restaurant in town.
Wine a a hummus plate? Don’t mind if I do.
So yeah, my weekend involved boat, beach, eating and relaxing. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Not only do I have a leftover Blue Apron meal in the freezer, but we got a Butcher Box delivery and our garden has started to produce like crazy. So we have a lot of food to eat this week and I am more than happy about that.
Tuesday: Tomato + Eggplant dish (similar to this)
Wednesday: Pioneer Woman’s Cashew Chicken with salad
Thursday: Blue Apron Spiced Cod & Summer Squash Cakes
Friday: Wing it!
Sunday: Chili Lime Pork Spare Ribs + roasted eggplant
