Hello hello and welcome to a brand new week.
SL and I along with a couple friends saw keyboardist Jordan Rudess perform at a small venue close to home.
Before the show, we stopped for dinner at a local Chinese restaurant that also happens to make great sushi. I opted for a caterpillar roll.
After a quick dinner, it was showtime. I didn’t know quite what to expect but Jordan Rudess was fantastic and the venue was stunning.
Per the artist’s request, I didn’t take any pictures during the show but was able to snap a picture of his piano before the performance stated.
I started feeling awful mid-show so we ended up going home right after the show was over.
I woke up feeling like death. Woof. After eating breakfast I parked myself on the couch and read the latest Cooking Light magazine and a few chapters of my book before passing out on the couch for 3 hours. 3 freaking hours! I am not a big napper so falling asleep for so long was s shock.
I woke up feeling much better and got my grocery shopping out of the way. Other than eating pizza on the couch for dinner nothing else got accomplished. But I did start to feel much better!
SL and I opted to sleep in on Sunday morning and it was glorious. Once we got up we were ready to get after it and decided on a run. We covered three miles in the gorgeous weather we had on Sunday.
After our run, I got after it in the kitchen and doing other household chores.
We watched the Master’s then I watched the first episode of 13 Reasons Why while SL helped a friend with some house projects. I read 13 Reasons Why years ago so was excited to see the Netflix version. The show is depressing (as I knew it would be) but its so well done. I’m looking forward to finishing the series.
SL and I ate dinner late and then headed to bed early. Good night weekend!

Saturday: REST! I was not feeling well at all.
Sunday: 3.28 mile run

Can I get a HELL effing YEAH to getting a Blue Apron delivery this week?! I’ve been struggling with some decision fatigue lately and having 3 dinners that I don’t have to plan out and shop for makes me very happy.
Monday: Salmon + asparagus with salad #healthymonday!
Tuesday: Leftovers of baked chicken thighs (I’m getting my hair done after work and I’m not sure when I’ll get home)
Wednesday: Blue Apron
Thursday: Blue Apron
Friday: Blue Apron
Saturday: Babysitting my niece (😍💗👶) so probably takeout
