How is it already November? Seriously, this year is flying by. It’s been a crazy, AMAZING, memorable year for me between settling into our house, planning a wedding, getting married and going on the adventure of a lifetime in Southeast Asia. I have literally zero plans for the rest of the year so why now accomplish some November goals to be proud of.
I haven’t written a goals post since August but I’ve been busy getting married ad traveling the world, so spare me.
How did I do in August?
- Create Wedding/House/Life Budget Binder
- Do summer
I am proud to report that I completed all of my goals! But I am a sneaky rat and have to admit that goals #1 and #2 were just excuses to justify buying as many May Designs notebooks as I could. I tried to pull the wool over my own eyes here and it worked.
I started to write down a lot of stuff in my super cute pineapple notebook during August and September. During our honeymoon I also journaled daily about our adventures and all of the food we ate.
Next – Budget binder. I actually bought a super cute budget notebook that I blogged about in a recent money post. It’s super cute as well and helps me get my money shit together.
And finally, do summer. SL and I finally did summer. Here were some of the best things we did:
- Body surfed in the ocean after work on a super hot day
- Hiked Old Speck
- Went to Maine and hung out with my family on the beach and boat
- Spent a full Sunday sitting on the beach and got nothing else done
Yay for hitting my August goals. Now that the wedding and honeymoon are over, it’s time for some new goals to work on.
1. Take 10 classes at Studio 5.
I bought an unlimited monthly membership for $99. I have been going so often and loving classes there so it was financially more responsible of me to buy the membership vs. paying for 10-class packages. To justify the cost, I am challenging myself to take at least 10 classes this month. I did spin earlier this week and barre last night so 2 down!
2. Put my CPT certification to work.
I got certified to be a personal trainer via NASM in June and have done nothing with it since. Why? Because I was getting married and spending my free time doing wedding things and working out. Now that life has calmed down, I want to break into the fitness industry and start training or start teaching group exercise classes. As if now I have received a few rejections because I don’t have any experience actually teaching but I’ll keep pushing. Someone will eventually want/need me!
3. Clean my car and get it inspected.
My poor Pathfinder. She is such a mess right now. I still have all sorts of summer things in there and there is sand from the beach and dirt from hikes. She’s gross and I feel bad about it. Also, I was supposed to get her inspected in March…oops. There is no excuse for this one. I HAVE to get it done before the end of the month.
4. Cross one thing off of my 100 Life Goals.
Which one will it be?! You’ll have to wait and see.
Ok, 4 goals to complete in the next 25 days. Yikes. I better get to work!
