Good morning and how is it already December? This year has seriously flown by. There is so much to look forward to this month. Yes, Christmas is great but honestly, there are so many more things I love about December than the big holiday.
To start the month off right – lets do a thinking out loud!
November Goals: I did a good job. Go me!
1. Read a book: Complete x3
First Come Love and All the Missing Girls were both amazing.
And just last night I finished The Girl in Cabin 10 which continue to haunt me for days to come.
2. Workout 20 times: Complete! I worked out 22 times in November with a commendable mix.
- Cycle: 6
- Core, Buns + Guns: 4
- Yoga: 4
- Bootcamp: 2
- Other: 2 (Deep Stretch Workshop + Thanksgiving Tabata)
- Barre: 1
- Pilates: 1
- Run: 1 (which leads me to my next goal)
I bought a lot of workout gear during the Black Friday / Cyber Monday sales. Oops! I am the proud owner of 3 new pairs of leggings and 5 new workout tops.
My goal was to get all of my Christmas shopping for other people done during the sales. I failed. Oh, and I also bought new May Designs notebooks and a new sweater. My wallet is still crying.
Daylight savings is the worst. I’ve been struggling to get out of bed in the morning and struggling to finish out my work day because its always dark now.
The sunsets at like 4:00 pm. That’s just not right. It’s also been raining here for the past couple days and I’m over it. Crisp, winter weather is fine with me but at least there should be some sun!
December Stitch Fix – meh. The fix they sent in October was amazing but this one was just ok. I am still on the fence about what to keep and what to ship back.
Nothing too exciting this week but there it all is – what I have been thinking about this week.
