My motivation level this week is not high. I vote that everything shuts down the week between Christmas and New Year’s. We could all use a break for a few days, amiright?
Speaking of low motivation…
My brain officially shuts down at 4:00 pm. I’ve (almost) always been a morning person but lately I have noticed that I really should only do menial tasks any time past 4:00 pm. It’s like my brain doesn’t even want to function as soon as the sun goes down.
Hopefully once it starts to get lighter out, I’ll at least be able to function until 5:00 pm! Or I can just start living out my ideal workday.
My first few treadmill runs in almost a year = 😦
It wasn’t pretty. Picture a sweaty mess jogging along at a snails pace and sweating buckets while doing it. That was me.
Speaking of working out, I joined another DietBet to kickoff the new year! I completed my first DietBet in January of 2015 and really enjoyed it. You can read about how it went here, here, here, and here.
Running on the treadmill really helped get me to the results I wanted in 2015 so it looks like I will have to get used to it again.
SL and I have a ski weekend coming up and I am beyond excited. We are heading to the Mountain View Grand Resort in early February and will be skiing, relaxing, sleeping in (hopefully) and eating great food.
We’ve visited this resort twice before, once on our own and once for a wedding. Both times were amazing and I am really looking forward to a weekend away. Now its time to pray to the snow gods for good snow!
