Good morning! My mind has been a crazy whirlwind of thoughts and ideas this week so I figured it was a good day for a Thinking Out Loud post.
I’ll just dive in…
1 | Revisiting my Workout Class Bucket List
Hey there throwback Thursday! I put together a workout class bucket list over two years ago and didn’t quite complete all of the classes I wanted to try.
Lucky for me, a new Orange Theory studio is opening up a mere 2.6 miles away from my new office and I am thrilled! I’m not sure when they open but once they do, I will be there. I’m also looking to take a Jazzercise class near my new office as well.
2 | This week I ordered a Blue Apron and like always, it’s been delicious. If I could order Blue Apron every week, I would. So far this week I have made Korean Pork Tacos with spicy red cabbage slaw and Blackened Chicken with zucchini rice, corn and cherry tomatoes.
Both of these recipes were amazing and ones I can easily re-create again and again.
3 | Today is the first day of fall! I love love love summer and I am sad to see it go but I really love fall too. The weather is still very summer-like but I’m sure it will change on a dime as the weather tends to do in New England.
Some of my favorite things about fall – my birthday!, our anniversary, football Sundays, vests and booties, and plaid things. I am really looking forward to October, its my favorite. I’d love to get a fall hike on the books. 🍂 🍁
4 | We leave for Ireland in less than a week! OMG that came fast. That also means that our one year anniversary is coming up quickly as well. When I was planning our honeymoon, I had every hour booked and anything on a spreadsheet. I was super organized.
For this trip, we have one thing booked and a few ideas of things to do on the fly but I am feeling really disorganized about this trip. Oh well, I know where my passport is and what time my flight is – I’ll figure the rest out from there.
5 | I started reading WomanCode by Alisa Vitti. Its all about getting your lady parts working in the right way. I am only 60 pages in and this book is fascinating. This book will help you learn hormone healthy in a simple, informative way.
Alisa is a holistic healthy coach who built a career around learning how and why woman’s bodies function the way they do. I am excited to devote more time this weekend to reading (and possibly finishing) this book.
That’s all for today’s Thinking Out Loud brain dump. My mind feels much freer and I am ready to get to work.
