Woof, I have been struck with something sickly this week. Not sure if it’s a fall cold or fall allergies but it is not fun. That said, I just want all the comfy things – as in clothing and food!
All can think about is wearing comfy clothes and eating comfy (comfort) food.
Here is my run down of comfy things I have been wearing and eating this week!
Now that fall is here 🙂 I have been living in flannels. My top two are both new this season.
My first favorite flannel of the season is from Old Navy.
I bought he shirt in the Gray/Pink Love color and am now considering buying a couple more. You can’t beat that price!
Second is from my latest Stitch Fix (<– referral link!) I legit wore it Friday night, most of the day Saturday and all day Sunday. The shirt is so comfy and fits like a glove.
The price tag was more than double that of the Old Navy flannel but I love this shirt so much and know I will get plenty of use out of it.
In other comfy news, I have been cooking up a bunch of comfort food this week. Well, at least I feel like it’s comfort food.
So far this week I’ve made (and ate) lots of comfy things:
- Homemade sauce with tomatoes from the garden
- Easy Baked Chicken
- Chicken Avocado Burgers
- Chicken Potato BBQ Casserole
- One Pot Turmeric Chicken
- I plan on making Hamburger Soup either tonight or tomorrow too!
If those things don’t scream comfort food, I don’t know what does.
Thanks to Amanda for hosting Thinking Out Loud letting me ramble about comfy things 😊
