Hello and happy Monday. Who is ready to take on this week? Me?! Maybe. I had a great weekend – fun and relaxing and plenty of baby time!
I am looking forward to this week but first, lets look back on the weekend.
Friday
I felt like Friday night was a flashback to my life before summer started. SL and I spent the night lounging on the couch with udon noodle bowls and a glass of wine.
It was perfect and exactly how I wanted to spend my Friday night.
Saturday
I was up and out the door by 7:45 am for cycle class followed by Core, Buns + Guns class.
SWEATY.MESS.
My favorite instructor was back to kick our asses on the bike then on the floor. I used to go to back-to-back classes every weekend and boy getting back into it was tough. I was beat by the end of it!
Thankfully, a relaxing day at the beach was planned.
Apres-beach, a few friends came over for a low key cookout. Everyone was gone by 9:00 pm so SL and I spent the rest of our evening sitting on our porch with a bottle of 19 Crimes wine.
This wine is delicious and I will most definitely be buying it again.
Sunday
Sunday stared similarly to Saturday, with a workout. This time, I hit up the barre and it was a struggle fest from the first pulse. Woof.
Luckily, class went by fast because I had someone very important to go see!
Miss Gracie!
To celebrate her first Patriots game, my brother-in-law and sister put her in their dog’s Patriots jersey !

After taking in as much Gracie time as possible, I surrendered to the fact that I still had all of my Sunday chores to do so I headed to the grocery store then home to get shit done.
I made a big pot of chili using a bunch of veggie from our garden.
I also made Slow Cooker Basil Chicken in Coconut Curry Sauce AGAIN. I am seriously obsessed (I think I have made it 4 or 5 times over the past 8 weeks).
By 9:45 pm I was in bed and couldn’t have been happier about it.
Now, lets look at this week.
