Heyyyy dude! 🤠 SL and I spent a few days in Austin this weekend! Yes, I went to Texas in June and it was HOT but I loved visiting this city.
I’ll write up a recap later this week. Long story short – we ate a lot and explored a lot and it was amazing. We got home super late on Saturday night/Sunday morning and then spent the day on Sunday getting all of our chores done to get ready for the week.
I won’t bore you with the details so, until tomorrow, I’ll leave you with this mural picture.
Because I feel like I have my shit together when I post about workouts and meal plans, here are my workouts and meal plans.
Weekly Workouts (last week)
After taking some time off after my latest round of IVF (it was, yet again, unsuccessful 😤) I am getting back into working out regularly.
Monday: Yoga/Pilates class
Tuesday: 45-minute Orangetheory (Love this shorter format)
Wednesday: 45-minute cycle class
Thursday: Exploring Austin
Friday: Exploring Austin
Saturday: Exploring Fredericksburg
This Week’s Menu
Getting back into the kitchen after being away is always a double edge sword for me. On one side, it’s nice to eat something homemade after eating meals out for a few days. On the other side, my home cooking always seems a bit blah after eating out for a few days.
So instead of dealing with the sword situation, I ordered a Blue Apron!
Monday (tonight!): Grilled chicken thighs and farro and arugula salad. Austin is amazing but there were very few veggies over the weekend.
Tuesday: Blue Apron
Wednesday: Blue Apron
Thursday: Blue Apron
Friday: Wing it! Either take out or quickly grilling something. We’ll see!
Saturday: Wing it!
Sunday: Steaks with whatever vegetable looks good when I shop!
