Hey hey hey! Happy Monday?!
I wanted to pop in for a little weekend update. Although 2 of the 3 days were really lazy for me, by the time Sunday did roll around I did manage to get some things done.
Friday can be described in two words…Gilmore Girls! After working out and showering, I plopped myself on the couch and watched all four of the new episodes (mini movies?)
Honestly, I was hoping for upbeat, fun and light and that is not what I got. It was far more dramatic than I thought but I am still happy it finally came out.
After my binge fest, SL and I ordered pizza and watched an episode of Westworld then the end of a football game that SL recorded. I went to bed early because a whole day of laziness really exhausted me.
Saturday was almost as uneventful as Friday. After working out in the morning and grocery shopping, I did some laundry and cooking. Happy Saturday to me!
The biggest highlight was starting to read The Woman in Cabin 10.
We had leftovers for dinner and watched Deadpool which was much better than I thought it would be. It was another early night for me.
After a lackluster Friday and Saturday, I actually manged to get some things done on Sunday.
I was signed up for barre class but my legs were toast from a tabata class on Thursday and then bootcamp on Friday and cycle on Saturday morning. Barre would have been legit torture.
Instead, SL and I went to brunch and got our Christmas tree!
Brunch was amazing and I would recommend the Applecrest Farm Bistro to anyone living in northern Mass, southern NH or southern Maine.
SL enjoyed a traditional breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, homefries and a biscuit and I ordered the biscuits and gravy.
We also each ordered a Bloody Mary, because, BRUNCH!
Needless to say, we were stuffed as we left to go get our Christmas tree. Luckily, the tree farm was right down the street and we found a 10 foot beauty rather quickly.
We got the tree up in the house and lights on it without problem. Christmas miracle!
The rest on Sunday involved more reading (The Woman in Cabin 10 is amazing!) and watching the Patriots game (another win!)
Now I am off to work…and maybe some Cyber Monday shopping too!
