Good morning and happy hump day! Today is extra special because it’s SL and my 6-year dating anniversary! We aren’t really doing anything to celebrate but I am making a delicious dinner and maybe we will open a bottle of something fun.
Speaking of food, I’m checking in today with another What I Ate Wednesday. Yesterday’s eats were pretty normal and I managed to try a new-to-me workout!
Before I ate anything, I went to a 5:30 am yoga class. Getting up early sucks but I love this class and never regret getting up to go.
I quickly drove home from the studio and grabbed 1/2 Larabar and I cup of coffee. I forgot how much I love Larabars! Then I was off to workout #2 of the day – Sculpt + Flex.
Sculpt + Flex is a new to me class at my studio. It is a 30-minute class that started with a dynamic stretch (😊) then we did 1 minute of cardio followed by 1 minute of abs followed by a short break. Then we repeated this cadence but with different cardio and abs moves.
The class went by really quickly and I was way sweatier than I thought I would be and ready to eat real breakfast.
This week’s scramble (I make enough for 4 breakfasts at once) had egg whites, green bell pepper and onion and I added 1/4 of an avocado and some salt and pepper.
Before a client meeting at work, I wolfed down a grapefruit to hold me over until lunch. I feel like grapefruit is one of those things that people either love or hate. I’m team love ❤️
But I hate cutting them up. It takes me forever!
We’ll call this an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink salad. It had green leaf lettuce, leftovers from Saturday’s dinner, asparagus and mango.
I didn’t bother with dressing because there were already plenty of flavors.
My plain chia pudding was pretty boring so I added two chocolate covered strawberries and one regular strawberry.
Happy Valentine’s Day to me!
Pizza Date Night! I’ve been looking forward to this for weeks. This is our third year in row enjoying Riverview pizza on Valentine’s Day and it is not a tradition I want to stop.
We ordered 3 pizzas so we could have options and lots of leftovers. It was the best idea ever.
All and all it was a great Valentine’s Day!
